As long as it doesn't make a surface slippery I have always welcomed it in my gardens. We made big changes at the beginning of the year, taking out two small lawns and replacing with gravel and flowerbeds. Being free of the lawn mower in this area has been lovely.

Best wishes SylviaSylvia (England)https://www.blogger.com/profile/14658826538568918452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4793702278130036246.post-92181862381963608352009-11-18T08:49:44.176+00:002009-11-18T08:49:44.176+00:00That was a really good post... thanks a lot for sh...That was a really good post... thanks a lot for sharing...Send Flowers to Jakartahttp://www.saeshaflowers.com/send-flowers-to.aspx/Indonesia/Jakarta/0/0/0noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4793702278130036246.post-43847710293854639452009-11-17T22:57:04.249+00:002009-11-17T22:57:04.249+00:00We love your moss conversion, VP. Drastic change? Not cleaning up the garden, and loving it! So much of interest, colorful foliage, browns and tans are also colors. It will hold frost nicely for even more interest later on too. And way to go for NAH!!!
FrancesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4793702278130036246.post-22054406472193049892009-11-17T22:03:06.558+00:002009-11-17T22:03:06.558+00:00Glad that you are enjoying the moss VP. No drastic changes here but I have had more time to enjoy being in the garden and allotment:)Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10794392333038962798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4793702278130036246.post-25771904955681283352009-11-17T21:41:04.223+00:002009-11-17T21:41:04.223+00:00The wall in my garden in Wales (I live there about...The wall in my garden in Wales (I live there about half the time even though I'm in Chippenham too) is covered in lichen. I've given up planting bulbs though - I just plant potted daffodils in spring. It's always either too dry or too late!
But I'm delighted to hear you extolling the virtues of moss. I love the springy feel of it under bare feet as you walk across the lawn in summer.Victoria Summerleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05055381807236106596noreply@blogger.com
