Windy weather today, then back to sunshine and above average temperatures by the end of the week :/

Flighty - I thought you might like it :)

Anna - the leaf miner moth is rampant around here too. It looks like the trees I saw on Friday weren't so badly affected as the ones close to our house. I was reading yesterday that there's some speculation about urban trees being more susceptible because they're not growing in ideal conditions plus the warmer temperature may be better for the moth.

Blogcamp was fun - they had one recently in Manchester - could be worth looking out for next year?VPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02732971362066784175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4793702278130036246.post-66693306973696770952011-10-10T22:39:04.576+01:002011-10-10T22:39:04.576+01:00Now that looks a glorious spot VP. Sadly our nearest horse chestnuts have been afflicted by the miner moth and the leaves are now nearly all fallen :( Your post about the BBC raised some interesting points some of which had not occurred to me. I very much hope that 'Gardens Illustrated' remains in its present format!
