When I come back after a week away, everything seems to have grown so much it hardly seems possible that it was only seven days I was gone. Luckily, here in Brittany we haven't been affected by the air pollution. I've pretty much given up on sowing indoors these days - my house is just too dark, and the sun moves around the garden too quickly at this time of year. My runner beans do just as well sown in the ground, and everything else catches up soon enough. That heat puddle effect in London does have advantages!colleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02484411878651364981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4793702278130036246.post-60449432898471704182014-04-02T18:03:56.221+01:002014-04-02T18:03:56.221+01:00The gateway to spring and the gardening year. The gateway to spring and the gardening year.Sue Garretthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08164518448098182276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4793702278130036246.post-39661948025389163142014-04-02T13:50:05.885+01:002014-04-02T13:50:05.885+01:00I'll be glad to be sowing flower and vegetable...I'll be glad to be sowing flower and vegetable seeds this month. I keep wondering if it's time to sow outside but haven't risked it yet. Late seems a better choice than allowing seeds to rot before their first leaves have a chance to be eaten by little black slugs.Esther Montgomeryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05412078991551799972noreply@blogger.com
