  2. So many apples in the fields near us this year - but such a waste as nobody seems to pick them - except me! Found some lovely grapes hanging over the outside of a farm wall too - again nobody picking them - except me! I'm becoming a foragger!

  4. I'd love to get to a show at Malvern again,haven't been for years since my father retired from being the warden at Malvern Wells YHA.. over thirty years ago!
    On another note it is so sad to see so much fruit going to waste, be in orchard or hedgerow.

    1. I've contacted the show and asked what happened to the apples afterwards... as the display was put on by a cider maker I'm hoping they found a good use for them :)
