Press, PR and Clips

Press - What's been said about Veg Plotting:

Every blog deserves a little bit of bling. Here's a little something I picked up at the Garden Media Guild Awards in December 2009 - and again in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Veg Plotting has had some great mentions in key publications including BBC Countryfile, BBC Gardeners' World, Grow Your Own (twice) and The Independent on Sunday. Peer voted honours include the Horticultural Channel Awards and the Blotanicals

and... drumroll please...

Clips - VP is available for hire

Writing

I've written general features for Wiltshire magazine and occasionally in the gardening pages of The Guardian. I've also reviewed specialist books for Green Places magazine.

Blogging and more

I blog for Reader's Digest, the greenhouse company Gabriel Ash, and also Connect Group, a local company where I'm helping them to raise lots of money for charity. I've written a book - Abseil to Zumba - for them based on the blog's content to celebrate raising a quarter of a million pounds over three years.

Social and virtual minded

I tweet and manage Facebook plus LinkedIn on behalf of the Garden Media Guild. I manage the online PR - to include website, newsletter, Twitter and Facebook accounts - for West Green House Gardens, one of the best gardens in the country. I'm a regular contributor to The Guardian Gardening Blog and I've also written for the BBC's gardening blog.

Back to Skool

I've delivered social media and blogging workshops to a number of clients. Here's a review of the Blogs and Simple Websites workshop I held for the Garden Media Guild earlier this year.

There's more

I'm available for other freelance and social media opportunities. See my list of Published Articles to Date for a full list of examples in addition to what you can see on this blog.
