After a tentative start last week (mainly due to lack of weeding), I'm happy to report the strawberries have swung into full scale production. This is one glut NAH and I have absolutely no problem in tackling. We each ate a massive bowlful last night whilst they were still warm from the sunshine.Tuesday, 10 June 2008
Strawberry Delight

Nothing beats strawberries straight from the plant, apart perhaps from tomotoes, I would find it hard to chose between. They look delicious VP, it is so satisfy to grow your own, and then it's gone in an instant!
Best Wishes,

My mouth is watering just looking at those berries!
Lucky you and NAH!
Hi everyone!
You're right, they were absolutely scrummy :)
More to be picked today :D
I usually eat my strawberries as I am working around the garden. I resisted this for a few days and this morning picked an ice-cream container full. My step-dad was pleased with his, and we had a good size bowl of strawberries and cream for our pudding this evening. Can't wait for the raspberries! x
Nor can I Louise!
